Cryptography

Information is being passed from one end of the globe to another between any communicating parties. But the prime concern in such a process would be security. Security of course is the only thing that holds away an attacker from gathering worthy information that should be held confidential by the communicating ends. So Cryptography was invented for this cause. The two major processes of Cryptography are encryption and decryption. Encryption is the process of encoding a plaintext using an algorithm to produce a cipher text that is unintelligible to users. This is sent through a covert channel to a receiver. The receiver has to use the reverse of the algorithm to get the plaintext from the cipher. This will enhance security.
